Convenience Store Cashiers

Corner Pantry is hiring for a morning cashier in Philip, SD.
Immediate need for multiple part time or full time cashiers! Must pass background check.
Extra pay for overnight shifts! Opportunity to advance positions! Vacation (FT), Health Insurance (FT), Holiday Pay (FT & PT) + more! Duties: * Clean the store and ensure products are properly displayed before the store opens.
* Organize merchandise on shelves and restock them when they become empty.
* Find and retrieve store merchandise.
* Advise customers concerning particular products or services.
* Perform routine inventory counts and submit reports to the Store Manager.
* Carry out other store administrative tasks as directed by the Store Manager.
* Upsell to customers through recommendations.
* Process sales transactions * Calculate the cost of products or services * Accept payments * Calculate and return change when required by the payment method * Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change * Answer customer questions about products or services * Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts * Report issues with equipment ​ Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Health insurance * Paid time off Shift: * 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
