The Oahe Zap are a summer collegiate wood bat baseball team located in Pierre, South Dakota.
Our season starts in May of 2024 and we are looking for driven, personable individuals with electric personalities to assist our front office and gain experience this season.
These individuals will perform the following duties:
* Getting involved with the crowd and building relationships with fans
* Creating games and events to elevate game day experiences
* Promoting the Oahe Zap and our sponsors both on and off the field
* Assist with social media and other marketing responsibilities
* Confidence speaking in front of crowds
* Working all Oahe Zap home games
* Setup and teardown before and after each home game
* Working non-gameday events at Hyde Stadium and throughout the community
* Participate in weekly meetings to go over marketing strategy and plans of action
* Assisting other departments when help is needed
* Other duties as assigned
The candidates we are looking for should meet the following requirements:
* A graduated high school senior or college student working towards a degree in Sport Management, Marketing, Communications or a related field
* A drive to work towards being the best at what they do
* A willingness to learn and take direction
* A passion for sports, fan experience, or finding creative solutions
* A positive attitude, even in pressure filled situations
Compensation: A monthly stipend of $400 per month and housing
