The Course Integration Analyst will assist with the Product Development department’s integration efforts based on the goals, objectives, and standards of the organization.
Specifically, the Course Integration Analyst will manage the flow of content into various authoring tools, assemble content and publish courses based on guidance from the curriculum teams.
The Course Integration Analyst will support department efforts by working within an assigned agile team, completing functional and cross-functional tasks to ensure the highest priority projects are delivered in the necessary time frame.
Input lesson and assessment content into various authoring tools according to formatting guidelines and standards; Assemble course content based on guidance from the curriculum team; Publish courses to various platforms and apply metadata as needed; Assist with refining project tasks for the assigned agile team; Train assigned agile team members on Integration tasks when cross-functional opportunities arise; Support an array of projects by developing and executing cross-functional skills to support the assigned agile team; Effectively manage various tasks and deadlines on a daily basis; Communicate with others in a professional and helpful manner while simultaneously building credibility and rapport.
This includes the ability to problem-solve, be diplomatic and tactful, demonstrate appropriate behavior in social situations and maintain composure in negative circumstances in order to achieve results and; Other duties as assigned.
Training/Competencies Able to manage change in a fast-paced work environment Solves problems by using expertise to evaluate multiple sources of information, and creating innovative solutions to problems Seeks information from internal and external sources, prioritizing and analyzing potential solutions in complex or new situations Highly effective communicator Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years content integration & manipulation experience, including experience assembling digital products Basic HTML and web skills are essential.
Knowledge of Microsoft and Google business applications.
Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG is preferred.
Familiarity with Agile principles is preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS), Educational Management Systems, or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is preferred.
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location.
As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State, and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows: The minimum full-time salary range is between $50,000 - $55,000.
