*Job Summary*
Looking to bring on a Junior Site Technician to support operational excellence at our South Dakota.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with a keen interest in maintaining computer systems within a data center environment.
They will be responsible for supporting our team of on-site technicians, assisting with equipment installation, remote requests, on-site maintenance, machine installation, testing, and troubleshooting infrastructure components.
*Responsibilities*
* Assisting in the repair and troubleshooting of equipment during incidents or equipment failures
* Support senior technicians in identifying problematic equipment and making recommendations to prevent future occurrences
* Prioritize a range of tasks based on changing priorities
* Support with on-site issues and assist in developing procedures to solve problems
* Assist in ensuring the smooth running of the ASIC fleet, including during changes in climate or operating conditions
* Help with racking of new machines as the site continues to expand
* Assist with network cabling and running of power cables
* Support with light construction duties for site equipment adjustments as needed
*Requirements*
* Interest in operating and maintaining Data Center servers
* Familiarity with servers and computers
* Willingness to learn about a range of tools and light construction or fabrication
* Ability to work in hot and/or loud environments
* Strong ability to manage priorities and handle multiple tasks
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* You are a well-organized individual who respects the work environment for the good of all employees and the business
* Ability to lift 50lbs or more
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.
